Hotel Hacienda Monteverde San Miguel De Allende, San Miguel de Allende

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was superb, with easy access to local attractions and markets, the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms and the hot and humid environment due to small windows were drawbacks. The service was consistently friendly and helpful, although the dining options could be improved.

The hotel is conveniently located near downtown with free parking, making it easy to walk to various places, including the artisan market, without having to venture all the way into town. The rooms, while slightly cold at night and in the morning, could benefit from better lighting and ventilation; however, as we don't spend much time indoors, they serve their purpose. The service, although inexperienced, was friendly and always helpful, bundled up for the chilly nights. The dining options were satisfactory, offering a selection of breads, pastries, and Mexican specialties, but more blankets had to be requested. The hotel is on the edge of the historic downtown, providing a quiet retreat from the bustling city center.

The hotel is situated in a nice location in Old Town where there are many locals and close to La Fabrica, an incredible collection of brilliant artists. The service was excellent and very helpful, and the dining options were satisfactory. However, the rooms need better ventilation and more electrical outlets. The location is good despite being a bit short of available power outlets.
